Dark Sky Reserve Irish Stout

McGill’s ‘Dark Sky Reserve’ is a traditional Irish Stout inspired by the Kerry International Dark-Sky Reserve. This region has been designated Ireland’s first International Dark Sky Reserve by the IDA. The Iveragh Peninsula is one of only 3 Gold Tier Reserves on the planet, and the only Gold Tier Reserve in the Northern Hemisphere. We have chosen the magnificent Ballinskelligs Bay to be represented on our Irish Stout label. This area is in the ‘Core Zone’ of the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve not far from where this beer is brewed. This beer is a dark, slightly bitter beer with strong notes of chocolate and coffee.
